The water bodies in the built environment includes not only the control measures on the ground like natural water or artificial lake but also includes all levels of river water.The river network in the built environment not only plays an important role in the construction,prosperity and development of the city,but also plays an important role in the transportation,defense and flood control.The river network in the built environment is an important ecological channel,receiving medium and storage space.The protection and comprehensive management of the river network in built environment is an important part of water conservancy work in sponge city construction,so the study on the sponge effect of the river net has positive significance and necessary.It is necessary for us to systematically solve the problem of urban stormwater and flood,and to focus on urban water ecology and water security.In this paper,through the ARCGIS platform,supplemented by urban planning,mathematical statistics,we choose the river network in different research areas as the object to analysis the impact factors of the storage effect in the built environment.On the basis of the structure of the river network,the construction of the sponge system is carried out.The main contents of this paper are as follows:Through the concept and necessity of sponge effect,the paper summarizes the influence factor on sponge effect of river network water in the built environment and clear research methods and technical route of water sponge effect.And set up the evaluation system in the context of cross discipline through selection of water structure,the corresponding evaluation factor,water storage capacity of river catchment and storage volume.The paper analyzes the factors on sponge effect of river network in built environment of the old city of Nanjing.Based on the analysis of the current water system of Kunshan,the mechanism and significance of the sponge effect of river network in the built environment are summarized.Through the horizontal vertical comparison of the two cases,the paper explore the relationship between the vertical design and city water system,the structure of river network and water storage and the need to regulate volume and water storage.And also,the paper explore the drainage pattern and the optimization of the sponge effect in the background of the sponge city.At last,through the practical project of the planning and design of the water system in the high tech Zone of Dafeng,the methodology is applied to practice.This paper discusses the feasibility of the system research method through the quantitative control of the corresponding indicators and the landscape planning.It also summarizes the problems in the research and the problems that need to be further discussed.The river network in the built environment has unique sponge effect.It is not only because of the effective capacity of the concave space which can solve the problem of the rain and surface runoff,but also because of the connection between water network.Compared with other engineering facilities,river network in built environment has better positive and realistic meaning of sponge effect.
