The drive axle is the core of the vehicle carrier,as a basic part,it not only bear the full load vehicle,which is connected with the main reducer assembly,brake hub,etc.on the automobile chassis plays a vehicle braking torque,and install the wheel a key role of the important parts,once the failure will lead to bearing oil,brake clearance,change basin angle gear teeth,bearing failure,deformation and serious joint fault,so the drive axle is not lost.In this paper,a new designed lightweight punching welding drive axle housing as the research object,in view of the bridge shell in bench test in different forms of bearing failure,from the theory of structural design to the production process,and then to the specific problems encountered in engineering practice,some factors affecting punching welding bridge shell bearing capacity is studied.In this paper,the theoretical analysis.Using 3D finite element software and completed the modeling and meshing of the driving axle shell,and then introduces the loading and constraint of axle housing under 4 typical working conditions and other 2 kinds of combination conditions,get the loading numerical size under different working conditions were calculated,and the solution obtained under the condition of the stress and deformation results according to the simulation analysis;then analyzed the dynamics modal,the natural frequency of measured axle vibration frequency is greater than the normal running of the vehicle;then the fatigue strength analysis,analyzes the main factors affecting the fatigue strength,and through the use of S-N in the name of legislation should be to determine the S-N curve of the bridge shell,and then use Ansys to get the fatigue life of the axle housing is calculated,the above analysis results show that the bridge shell structure design to meet the requirements.In order to analyze the influence factors of the subsequent to the actual production capacity of the bridge shell foundation,after the theoretical analysis,this paper briefly introduces the process of production process of bridge shell welding,stamping,welding,including processing,discusses in detail the friction welding head as a welding process with high quality,high efficiency,no pollution and other advantages,has become the best choice of the axle end welding.Finally,this paper combined with the practical problems encountered in the bridge shell production in the production process,to summarized several factors affecting the bearing capacity of the bridge shell,including head ring seam welding process improvement,camshaft bracket plate welding techniques and stamping plate material defects;in addition,practice has proved that the bridge shell heat treatment to improve the bearing capacity of impact fatigue;and shot change work piece welding tensile stress to compressive stress,improve the ability of anti fatigue failure,avoid direct fracture,can effectively improve the fatigue life.Axle bearing ability is influenced by many factors,not only the theoretical design of many factors,in the actual production process in practical factors can not be ignored,this paper analyzes several factors that influence them,but lack of in-depth research and analysis to need after.
