Future Kitchen Appliances Design Based On Mixed Reality Technology

With today's science and economy is developing rapidly,people's requirements for quality of life are getting higher and higher,and a great variety of intelligent equipment are constantly springing up.While in the field of kitchen appliances or kitchens,it is difficult to continue with intelligence.Some of the appliances factories may just be connected to WiFi or added a piece of screen,which is more like pseudo-intelligence.So what is the cause of this phenomenon? Is it limited by the kitchen itself or because there is no smart way to choose? Based on this issue,this article started with the kitchen appliances design and intelligent technology,carried out a large number of kitchen appliances and technology research,found the mixed reality technology and explored the possibility of its application in kitchen appliances design.This article takes the kitchen appliances design as the carrier,combines with mixed reality technology,to explore different forms of combining future kitchen appliances with technology,and finally design a future kitchen appliances solution based on mixed reality technology to realize the real smart home.Under the premise of preserving the basic functions of the kitchen,this appliances solution will improve the cooking-related functions,optimize the cooking experience,regenerate the interactive mode,and maximize the emotional needs of people in the kitchen.(1)User research: Two aspects of research work were conducted,which are the questionnaire and home research.First,through questionnaires to understand the situation of users using kitchen appliances and the problems encountered in the kitchen life,on this basis,an in-depth household research was conducted to observe every flow of user work in the kitchen,digging the source of the problem and insight into the user's demand.(2)Technical analysis and investigation: Comprehensively analysis the availability of mixed reality in the kitchen,combined with the kitchen environment,structure and other factors at the same time,to explore the reasonable interaction patterns that applied to the kitchen and ultimately applied to the design.(3)Design Practice: On the basis of the first two tasks,the specific kitchen electric system design work is carried out,including hardware such as MR glasses,integrated stove,steaming oven and so on,as well as the design of usage scenarios,visual interfaces,and interactive modes.
