3D Print Products Design Based On Xiangxi Bamboo Weaving Culture

With the great development of internet technology,citizen's living style has got a huge revolution.The product in the new era not only enriches people's material life,but also challenges the traditional national culture at the same time.Meanwhile,the development of internet technology and high-tech also bring some new chances and challenges for the transmission and development of the traditional national culture.How to find a way to make traditional handicraft industry blossom has become a temporary difficult problem for the cultural preservation works in high-material social life.Bamboo weaving is a highlight in Chinese national handicraft transmission.As a part of intangible cultural heritage of our country,bamboo weaving has found a way into every aspect of citizen's life.As time goes by,bamboo weaving and its products have been changing and developing constantly.Xiangxi,a region that has a long history and abundant national culture,has splendid handicraft culture.Xiangxi bamboo weaving has witnessed and recorded the glorious history and culture.But recently,under the great impact from the new technology and material,bamboo weaving has become out of citizen's sight gradually,fading away like the traditional culture and handicraft of other minorities.Nowadays,in the high-developed informationized world,digital application technology has offered a new approach for the transmission of the intangible cultural heritage,offering a three-dimensional,vivid,and diversified way for the expression and transmission.This article is from the perspective of design to summarize and analyze Xiangxi bamboo weaving's current situation and development.It also gives some thought to Xiang xi bamboo weaving culture from the perspective of cultural transmission and development,discussing the preservation and spread of the Xiangxi bamboo weaving with the application of digital development model,putting forward the application of three-dimensional model to preserve bamboo weaving handicraft and provide new approaches for the redesign of Xiangxi bamboo weaving,creating and spreading a bamboo weaving system on a digital platform,exploring the relationship between the traditional craft and modern design.In order to provide a new way for the development of Xiangxi bamboo weaving technology transmission and make bamboo weaving popular in our daily life,a set of home furnishing products are designed based on amboo weaving technology by means of 3D printing technology.
