Pedestrian crossing traffic is so easy to conflict or even collide with vehicles that the safety of pedestrian crossing is reduced and the disruption of traffic is caused.In this paper,aiming at solving the problem of crossing streets without signal control and pedestrian crossing,taking the young and middle-aged pedestrians as the research object,according to the local pedestrian crossing traffic in Changsha and based on the social force model,the pedestrian crossing behavior is described and the microscopic model of single pedestrian crossing is established.By comparing the theoretical and experimental data,this paper analyzes the four aspects of pedestrian crossing tracks,crossing delay,risk assessment and decision-making behavior of pedestrian crossing to point out the deficiencies of the present theory and model.It is found that the existing theoretical descriptions do not agree with the actual situation,the existing models ignore pedestrian psychological characteristics and pedestrian micro behavior.According to the proposed deficiencies and combined with the experimental data,the two main factors that affect the decision-making behaviors of pedestrian crossing are discussed:pedestrian factors and environmental factors.Among them,the pedestrian factors include psychological characteristics and behavioral self-control ability and the environmental factors include motor vehicles and destinations.Finally,on the basis of social force theory,this paper takes the attraction of destinations and interaction between pedestrians and vehicles into account according to the actual situation of pedestrian crossing;On account of the characteristic of peedstrians' differences and behavior randomness,this paper proposes the method of using the expected speed and relaxation time of each pedestrian to replace the previous method of global average value.In order to solve the difficult problem of model parameters,the method of maximum likelihood estimation is adopted to calibrate the parameters.Based on the improved social force model,the pedestrian crossing motion model is obtained;and through the comparision with actual crossing track,it is shown that the model can effectively describe the pedestrian movement.
