With the continuous growth of China’s population and the number of motor vehicles,the conflicts between pedestrians and motor vehicles are becoming more and more intense.Whether at the intersection or at the pedestrian crossing,the interaction between the two will not only lead to traffic congestion,but also cause accidents,which will seriously affect the safety and efficiency of pedestrians and motor vehicles.Therefore,how to protect the pedestrian and driver groups among the traffic participants is the key and difficult point in the traffic research.On this basis,the paper takes the pedestrian crossing behavior as the research object,and focuses on the traffic characteristics of pedestrian crossing.Through the establishment of interactive simulation model between pedestrians and motor vehicles,the design of pedestrian crossing facilities is optimized,and the research has theoretical and practical guiding significance to improve the safety and comfort of pedestrian crossing.The paper is supported by the content of National Natural Science Foundation of China“Optimum Self-Organization Mechanism and Relevant Design Parameters of Expressway Continuous Interchange Traffic Flow(No.51878236)” and Research Project of Hefei Key Engineering Construction Administration “Research on the Key Technology of Hefei Expressway System Evaluation and Traffic Design(No.2019FFCJ4364)”.At first,the paper briefly introduces the types and design methods of pedestrian crossing facilities,and collects actual data by combining UAV aerial photography and manual investigation.Pedestrian track extraction and recognition software is used to obtain the spatio-temporal and location information of pedestrians,and analysis of pedestrian crossing behavior and traffic characteristics.The arrival characteristics,speed,waiting time of pedestrians and the arrival and yield characteristics of motor vehicles are analyzed.Based on the investigation results and the existing research results,the pedestrian crossing behavior is modeled,and the selective crossing model of pedestrian crossing is constructed,which lays a theoretical foundation for the construction of the simulation model in the following paper.On the basis of the above research,based on the established pedestrian crossing decision model,combined with the improved Na Sch model and the SFCA model,a pedestrian vehicle interaction simulation model without signal control section was built,and the evolution rules of the model were described.On the basis of the simulation model,the pedestrian simulation data and measured data were compared and analyzed to verify the reliability and rationality of the model.Finally,it analyzes the delay time of pedestrian crossing and motor vehicle passing,and selects the weighted total delay of pedestrian and motor vehicle as the evaluation index.By means of the established pedestrian vehicle simulation model,the simulation environment is set up in combination with various influencing factors of pedestrian crossing.Through setting a certain range and gradient of pedestrian vehicle flow,the simulation scheme is established and the simulation results are output.Through the analysis of the simulation results,the recommended value of pedestrian crossing signal setting and the optimization design method of crosswalk width are proposed. |
