Walking is one of the most popular means of transportation for people to travel,the diversity of contemporary urban transportation has gradually attracted the attention of scholars of slow traffic safety situation,pedestrian walking facilities capacity etc.The research of pedestrian traffic can be discussed from macroscopic and microscopic,the macro perspective refers to from the whole movement characteristic of pedestrian flow that can get the basic parameters of pedestrian flow movement: the relationship between velocity,density,flow,thus for calculating the capacity of pedestrian facilities,service level,etc.But the macroscopic angle of the study can not reflect the differences of individual movement.At home and abroad,the research of pedestrian traffic behavior is mostly focused on the microscopic point of view,whether from the perspective of time and space as a continuous variable classification,microscopic model consists of discrete model and continuous model,the typical discrete model are discrete choice model,the lattice gas model and cellular automata model;Continuous model is mainly to establish differential equation by mechanical method,one of the typical model: magnetic force model,social force model.In recent years,the social force model of pedestrian movement from the microscopic view has been concerned by many scholars,based on the continuity and intelligent of social force model description of pedestrian movement,the model is often used to study the crowd evacuation and describe the subway platform crowd movement characteristics in the field of traffic,and has made remarkable results,but few scholars involved in the direction of pedestrians crossing the street.In building internal channel,subway stations,and other places of pedestrian movement,social force model for pedestrian including self driving force,pedestrian interaction force,and force between boundary(usually a physical boundary: wall,buildings and other entities)and pedestrians,but in the pedestrian crossing,not only self-drive force and pedestrian interaction force,but also the force of pedestrian with crosswalk borders(invisible border)(including the attraction and repulsion),driving force of the light for pedestrians.The paper mainly build social force model through studying on demand of pedestrian crossing space,social force model parameters selection,effect of boundary on the pedestrian crosswalk,simulate two-way pedestrian street scene through the MATLAB program,observe the typical self-organization phenomenon of pedestrian crossing.The pedestrian simulation data for statistical studies:The relationship between pedestrian space and pedestrian speed is nonlinear;The selection of the parameters of the social force model has great influence on the simulation results,the simulation results show that the values of the parameters of the expression of the social force model should be considered according to different conditions,such as the simulation purpose and the simulation scene;Along the length of pedestrian crossing direction,bidirectional pedestrian speed significantly decreased when two pedestrian intersection and when local density maximum speed to a minimum;Pedestrian crossing time have obvious relationship with pedestrian crossing size,number of pedestrians,the crossing delay can be obtained by setting different simulation conditions,and can reflect the pedestrian crossing service level and efficiency of crossing the street;Local density reflect crowded degree in different positions when pedestrians crossing the street,provide the basis for improvement of pedestrian crossing facilities.
