| The loader is a kind of common earthmoving scraper machine.It is widely used in mines,construction sites and other engineering markets due to its mobility,flexibility and low prices.The current whole-machine research fields are focusing on its reliability,efficiency,energy consumption,comfort and so on.One of the essential directions of enhancing the loader technology is to develop whole machine's reliability.Cylinder liner,piston and other parts of the loader engine often wore out prematurely in sandstorm area because filter material was in poor quality or air filters were damaged and were not replaced in time.Since that,the filter capacity has declined or the filter even failed to function.In order to solve this problem,we are going to optimize the design of the air filter and then to validate it in actual application.In the new scheme,the air filter is designed by multistage centrifugal filter.The main pre-filter structure is made of array type axial swirl tube.By improving the efficiency of the pre-filter,filter load and failure rate caused by the filter is reduced.The optimal spiral angle and array arrangement of the swirl pipe are determined by the CFD analysis.The pre-filter efficiency and the intake resistance are both taken into account.Compared with the common air filter of the loader,the inlet resistance of the engine power point is reduced by 25.4%,the coarse filter efficiency of the idle point is increased by 17.4%,and the coarse filter efficiency is increased to 92%.Applicable traffic range is wider.It is a kind of high pre-filter efficiency air filter adapted to full load air flow rate of the loader.Through the on-site verification of the air filter,it was turned out that the updated air filter has high applicability and reliability on the loader,and the filtration efficiency is obviously better than other ordinary air filters.Premature wear didn't occur during the verification period in all test loaders.Premature wearing problem has been resolved effectively. |
