In recent years,air pollution inside cars has threatened people's health,and particulate matter is particularly harmful to people.In this paper,the filtration characteristics and application of non-woven fiber automotive air conditioning filters are studied,which provides more reference for the improvement of filter performance and efficient use.The main research contents of this paper are the combination of numerical simulation and experimental verification to study the influence of filtration area,air volume and filling rate on the resistance of automotive air conditioning filters;using the numerical simulation method,the velocity of the airflow during the passage of the filter is obtained,and the simulated value is compared with the experimental value;through the vehicle experiment,the effects of filter media,air volume,pollutant concentration and blowing mode on filtration efficiency were studied;the effect of wind speed on the filtration efficiency of large particle size particles was studied experimentally.The results show that with the increase of filtration area,the material resistance will decrease,the structural resistance will increase,the pressure loss will decrease first and then increase;the wind speed will increase,the pressure loss will increase;the filling rate will increase and the pressure loss will increase;compared with the filter with lower filling rate,the filter with higher filling rate has the lowest filter area;9 different wind speeds between 0.54m/s and 2m/s,the speed reduction after passing the filter is 8%-12%,and the measured value is in good agreement with the simulated value.Efficiency testing of three different filter media filters,the activated carbon fiber filter has the highest efficiency stability,the non-woven fiber filter has the lowest filtration efficiency stability,and the electrospun nanofiber filter has the highest average efficiency.The filtration efficiency of the automobile filter decreases to a certain value as the apparent filtration air volume increases,taking the face mode operation condition when the PM2.5 concentration is 200?g/m3 as an example,The filter efficiency curve equation can be expressed by y=exp?4.71-0.7x+0.16x2?.Since the air conditioning air volume affects the filter filtration efficiency and the CO2/O2 air exchange rate,the air conditioning gear is in the first gear when the external circulation mode is maintained to meet the air quality requirements,in the second gear,it is necessary to switch the outer loop to the inner loop within a certain period of time to meet the requirements,and in the 6th gear,the internal and external cycles cannot be switched to meet the setting requirements.In the filter filtration efficiency test,the sealing is 2.5%-5% higher than the unsealed condition;the filtration efficiency of the particles with the particle diameter of 0.3?m to 3?m is increasing,and the filtration efficiency of the particle larger than 3?m is about 90%;the filtration efficiency of the particle size particles did not change significantly with the change of the air volume.
