Research On The Development Characteristics And Countermeasures Of The Border Areas In Big Cities

As a special geographical space caused by the artificial administrative divisions,the boundary zone of the administrative region has a series of unique characteristics and problems in its development and construction under the influence of the boundary effect and the economy of the administrative regions,attracting widespread attention in the academic circles.However,there are some similar features and problems of development that have the same influence on the inner boundaries of metropolitan areas with lower administrative levels in the boundary type.Therefore,there is no further study.Based on this,taking Suzhou as a typical case,this paper analyzes in depth the unique development features and problems in the inner boundary of the metropolitan area,and discusses the causes and countermeasures behind them.In order to improve the utilization rate of space resources in large cities,Provide suggestions for the development and construction of all districts,promote the integrated development of big cities and the overall image of cities,and at the same time further enrich and perfect the theoretical and empirical research on the border areas.Under the guidance of relevant theories in the border areas at home and abroad,as well as a large number of related literatures on the characteristics,influencing factors,effects and degree of the border development,the solution to the border problems and the regulatory mechanism,this paper takes Suzhou as the main case,In-depth field research and interviews on the border areas are carried out to systematically summarize the unique development features and problems of the metropolitan border area from the aspects of landscape,functional layout,economic vitality,and spatial quality.On the basis of this,Discussing the causes of these problems in six aspects such as the relationship,economic strength,planning and layout,urban management,natural geography and historical legacy.Finally,according to the characteristics and causes of the boundary,from optimizing the allocation of power resources and promoting the economic development of the boundary,Good planning and connection and coordination,building a governance system and innovative governance,and formulating development strategies according to local conditions.These measures are put forward to solve the outstanding contradictions in the border areas such as block division in large cities.
