The limits of the site and the improvement of the aesthetic of the building produce more and more irregular buildings.However,previous earthquake damage shows that such structures are prone to reverse damage and cause great losses to people's lives and property.Due to the large load of high commercial buildings and numerous person,it is necessary to attract the attention of the structural designers.In this paper,the fundamental theory of frame-shear wall structure,the definition of irregular and the control of torsion effect are expounded,and then a high-rise commercial building is used as an engineering example.The seismic fortification category of this project is the key fortification type,the structure elevation is 75.25 meters,and the plane is irregular L shape.It is prone to reverse damage under the action of earthquake.In this paper,a variety of models are established by using PMCAD to set up various models according to the setting of anti-seismic joints,and using the finite element analysis software SATWE respectively to analyze each model.When the seismic joints are set,the seismic joints can be divided into two parts: the left and right parts.The left part discusses the effect of the opening of the shear wall on the torsional effect of the structure.On the right,the influence of the eccentricity of the structure on the torsional effect of the structure is analyzed.The size of the eccentricity is the important factor that affect the structure of torsion effect,different eccentric direction under the same eccentricity may also affect the structure of torsion effect,this article also considering the effects.In this paper,the optimal scheme of the left and right sides of the anti-seismic joints is compared with the scheme without the design of the anti-seismic joints,and the practical scheme of the project is given.The experience gained from this project is summarized to provide some reference value for similar projects.
