Vehicle monitoring system is a system which is the use of satellite positioning technology,mobile communication technology and GIS technology to carry out a reasonable monitoring and management.It is widely used to monitor a variety of vehicles,especially concrete mixer and other engineering transport vehicles.For specific issues in the concrete industry,such as scheduling management confusion of a Transport Vehicle?Vehicle utilization is not high?stealing oil and uploading the concrete privately on the way to the construction site?Speeding and fatigue driving and the potential information security only based on GPS,the paper design a vehicle monitoring system based on beidou and GPS.Firstly,this paper introduces the background significance of vehicle monitoring system,and compares the research status at home and abroad.Then introducing the relevant technology involved in the vehicle monitoring system,such as beidou satellite positioning technology and GPS technology,GPRS technology,database application technology and GIS technology.On the basis of these technologies and combined with the actual functional requirements and technical characteristics of the system,the overall design of the engineering transportation vehicle monitoring system is designed.The system uses B/S architecture model,including Beidou/GPS vehicle terminal,system server,voice call system and monitoring platform and other major parts.On the basis of the overall framework of the system,this paper focuses on the software design of server communication,voice call system and monitoring platform,including vehicle terminal and communication server communication design?custom communication protocol design?business server and Web server design and both communication design?monitoring platform?the main function interface design?the main business function design and voice call system software detailed design.In this paper,the system finally realized the vehicle terminal can upload the vehicle terminal information to the server by the GPRS network.The user can also send the scheduling and control commands to the vehicle terminal by the remote monitoring browser to understand the position and running status of the vehicle in real time to monitor and manage vehicle.In addition,the vehicle is seriously abnormal,the monitoring system through the voice call system client first time automatic telephone voice dial to the vehicle drive,in a timely manner to reduce the loss of business.Finally,the system of vehicle transportation monitoring system for the system testing,including the alarm management,monitoring and management and scheduling management and other major business functions and voice call system detailed test analysis.The test results show that the system is reliable and stable,and can locate and monitor the vehicle in real time.The vehicle monitoring system has been put into practical operation to monitor and schedule the vehicle.The actual operation results show that the system is stable and has reliable performance,meet the actual demand for vehicle monitoring system,improve the management of engineering transport vehicles,improve business efficiency.
