The construction hoist is a common building construction equipment whichvertically lift and hand workers or materials in a wide range. It is of greaterprobability to cause accidents in construction machinery. As China’s economysustained rapid growth, the continuous expansion of urban construction,productionand sales of construction hoist have high-speed growth. The increase in constructionsite, construction difficulty and complexity of upgrading the security issue is nowmore and more serious. Although our country every year to spend a lot of ma npowerand resources to supervise,but due to the wide locations, the situation is complex,testing is not comprehensive enough to reduce the problem of the effectiveness ofmanual supervision. So, it is an urgent need to solve the problem howcomprehensive and efficient construction hoist equipment safety management andprotect its safe operation. However, the development of modern electronictechnology and the steadily of wireless communication technology for thedevelopment of new construction hoist safety monitoring system provides animportant safeguard.In view of the current construction hoist low degree of automation and safetymanagement characteristics of weak, the remote automation safety control systemfor construction hoist was designed. Firstly, it introduces the significance of theconstruction hoist safety monitoring, analysis of the research situation anddevelopment trend of domestic and foreign construction hoist safety monitoring, andidentified performance indicators to be achieved by t he hoist safety monitoringsystem. Then, according to the functional requirements of the construction hoistsafety monitoring system, we can determine the general idea of the system hardwaredesign and system block diagram and have a detailed analysis of the weight of thesignal acquisition module, the acceleration data acquisition module, the floor callsystem module, the data storage module, the remote communication module and soon. In the aspect of software design, according to the system’s functionalrequirements,it elaborated the methods of the acquisition of the acceleration signaldata,the weight of the system,and the processing and correction. And it alsoelaborated detailed the system operating parameters storage and forwarding, and therealization of remote communication. New devices used in MEMS (Micro ElectroMechanical System) technology, it avoid ed the problems of dynamic loads and thefrequent starting and braking brought about from the changes of speed. Meanwhile,the safety monitoring system added wireless floor call system, reducing the largeamout of inefficient transportation as it worked and improving the efficiencies of the transportation. It increased the running remote transmission of data, and themanagers and regulators’ supervision to the construction hoist. It can effectivelyguarantee the efficiency and safety operation of construction hoist.Finally, according to the safety of special equipment technical requirements, itcarried out a series of tests. Eventually it passed the adoption of a national specialequipment safety type test. By the field tests, the safety monitoring system caneffectively improve the efficiency of transport ation and safety,and it had goodstability and easy management.
