Relationships Between Characterizes Of Ecological River Revetments And Their Ecological Services In Hangzhou

The relationship between mankind and urban rivers is inseparable.During the construction of urban river revetment,concrete,artificial stone-masonry and other hard materials were widely used in the traditional revetment works because of their function and practicable.However,plants,wood,stone and other environment-friendly materials were ignored.Hard materials cut off biological exchanges between water and land ecosystems.It not only depresses natural landscape of river revetment,and even has done certain harms to the local environment.Under the premise of ensuring the basic safety function and stability,the ecological revetment should also take into account the landscape effect and ecological benefits of bank revetment,which represents a trend for the development of river revetment in modern urban.In this article,the different types of ecological revetment located in Hangzhou are investigated.We use sampling method,and record plant species and their growth conditions on the revetment.The investigation also includes air,soil and water samples,and related environmental parameters were measured to represent the ecological services.We analyze the effects of different bank protection types,bank revetment structures,plant community features and vertical structures on the riparian environment and surrounding water quality by using correlation analysis and T-test method.Then we discuss the relationship between ecological revetment types,structure,plant community and bank protection ecological service function,and we try to select suitable ornamental plants and establish stable plant community for ecological revetment.The main research results are as follows:(1)Ecological revetment on the river bank environment regulation is relatively small.The structure of non-ecological revetment and natural prototype revetment has a greater impact on the surrounding environment,followed by natural revetment.The soil is the most affected by revetment structure,the greater the bank slope,the greater the soil moisture.Plant community is the key to ecological protection,the rational collocation of trees,shrubs and herbs has a significant regulating effect on riparian environment.Generally speaking,the effect of ecological revetment on the riparian environment is not obvious,but compared with other bank protection,natural prototype revetment has the best regulation.(2)The impact of ecological revetment on river water quality is obvious.Under different weather conditions,revetment structure has a great influence on water conductivity,phosphorus content and dissolved oxygen,the slope of which the greatest impact.The characteristics of revetment plant communities under different weather conditions have a great influence on the turbidity,phosphorus content and conductivity of water,Rich plant community structure has the greatest impact on the surrounding water quality.Under different weather conditions,revetment type has the greatest influence on turbidity,conductivity and phosphorus content,the natural prototype revetment has the best effect on the river water quality of the river,and the non-ecological revetment with the greatest degree of human intervention is the worst.The influence of ecological revetment type,structure,plant community features and structure on ecosystem service of ecological revetment is reflected in different aspects.Accordingly,we suggest that the construction of ecological revetment should follow the principle of safety and stability,ecological health and landscape suitability.We should consider the construction methods of ecological revetment from the aspects of ecological revetment type,ecological revetment structure selection and ecological revetment plant community construction,To build a stable,efficient and beautiful ecological revetment landscape,provide a reference for the construction of bank revetments in urban rivers.
