Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast(ADS-B)technology is an aircraft operation monitoring technology based on GPS global satellite positioning system and air-air,ground-air data link communications.Because of its low cost of development,high security,high reliability and good monitoring performance,the ADS-B has been determined to become main research technology of the ICAO.Currently,1090 ES data link,UAT data link and VDL-4 data link are support for the ADS-B technology.All three are equipped with data link channel capacity,fast and broadcast function,etc.According to the Civil Aviation Administration's policy on ADS-B technology,our country chooses 1090 ES data link in commercial aviation and select UAT data link in general aviation.In order to overall plan and unified manage all aircrafts in general aviation,this paper proposes a scheme of receiver to receive and identify UAT mode ADS-B data link and focuses on the technology theory and hardware implementation of the data processing portion of the UAT mode receiver.The data processing portion has the characteristic of low error rate and large range of fault tolerance,and can meet the performance of receivers and the requirements of practical application.The main work of this paper is as follows :Firstly,I understand the working principle of ADS-B systems,analyze the characteristics of UAT data link,and propose a structure scheme of the UAT mode ADS-B signal receiver.Secondly,I research the technical theory of data processing portion of UAT mode receivers,design the algorithms of each module,and simulate it by the Matlab software to analyze the algorithm performance.Next,in the ISE environment,I use Verilog HDL language to realize the function of each module of data processing portion,utilize the Xilinx 's IP core rational,and verify the effect of each module by the Modelsim simulation software.Then,on the ISE platform,fuse the program of each module of data processing portion of UAT mode receivers,do a simulation by the Modelsim software,and verify the overall effect of the receiver.Finally,according to the functional requirements of each module of data processing portion of UAT mode receivers,design the hardware platform of data processing portion,and use the hardware platform to do a functional verification and performance test for the program of data processing portion.The test results verify that the algorithm of data processing portion is correct,demonstrate that the proposed data processing portion is applicable to receiver effective,and has a certain value in engineering.
