High Pressure Common Rail fuel system has become the primary solution to meet the stringent regulatory requirements with its excellent power,economy and emission characteristics.Foreigners has already launched products many years,however,the major domestic OEMs which have matched their products are mostly from abroad,the core technology should be solved eagerly.In this paper,the electrical control unit has been designed based on the Cummins ISBE-32.First study the composition and the control principle of the fuel system,design the hardware according to the needs;design system control software according to different levels of modules based on freescale 9S12XEP100,such as various types of input signal processing,rail pressure control,fuel injection control,condition-tasking;design PC monitor calibration interface using VB language achieve real-time online calibration,store curves for offline analysis.At last,test the hardware,software and PC interface;finish the injector and pump calibration,verificate rail pressure control strategies preliminary;complete parameters analysis about start control performance,research the control law by secondary injection and nonlinear segmented PID strategy,the starting time reduces to 1.1 seconds from 2.9,the start overshoot decreases to 1.8%,from 2.43%,then conducte a power plant start-policy validation;study the effects of changing frequency on rail pressure control;finally,test the diesel engine speed performance.
