Study On Social Benefits Evaluation Of Kunming Rail Transit Based On CVM Method

With the development of urbanization in China,the problem of urban traffic congestion becomes more and more serious.In order to solve the problem of traffic congestion,the concept of "public transport priority development" is adopted to develop the public transport system.Because of the advantages of accurate time,high speed,large traffic volume,long running distance and low traffic accident rate,urban rail transit has attracted much attention in the construction of public transport system.The construction of urban rail transit in Kunming started late and was in the initial stage of construction,but it has made great social benefits.The Contingent Valuation Method(CVM)of evaluating Kunming urban rail traffic social benefits is trying to quantitatively evaluate the social benefits of urban rail traffic,according to the theory of consumer surplus,through the questionnaire,to find the maximum price that people will pay for urban rail transit construction in Kunming.The mathematical model is logistic regression analysis.It can help to find the impact factors of the willingness to pay and can calculate the average value of willingness to pay.So we can estimate the social benefits of urban rail transit in Kunming.The main contents of this paper include the concepts and theory of Contingent Valuation Method(CVM),the base of evaluating Kunming urban rail transit social benefits,selection of social benefits evaluation methods,social benefits evaluation of Kunming urban rail transit based on the CVM,the development analysis of Kunming urban rail transit etc.From this paper,we can conclude that the average price of people's willingness to pay is 117.81 RMB per month,the social benefits of urban rail traffic in Kunming is enormous from 3.4755 billions RMB to 3.8689 billions RMB every year.However,there are still some problems in the construction of Kunming urban rail transit project,and this paper also puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for the problems of Kunming urban rail transit projects...
