Research On The Urban Spacial Change And Eco-environment Sustainability Of Tianjin Binhai New Area

With the development of urban economy and the expansion of urban scale,the contradiction between natural resources and urban development becomes intensified gradually.How to realize the sustainable development has become an important issue.As the 3rd pole of economic growth in China,Tianjin Binhai New Area has changed a lot in the structure of economy,industry and land space.In order to achieve the economic and social development,during 1999 to 2014,the area had replaced 36.1%farm land,20.9%salina and 32.4%water area into the construction land,which expanded 23.6 times.The ecological resources,energy consumption of different layout is also different.According to the ecological analysis results,the ecosystem service value and the ecological capacity of the area are both decreasing on the whole,while the ecological footprint is increasing.And the ecological deficit phenomenon is becoming serious,increased from 0.002hm² in 1999 to 0.079hm² in 2014,in another word,the urban development in Tianjin Binhai New Area was unsustainable.Compared with Shanghai Pudong New Area and Shenzhen,the regional GDP of Tianjin Binhai New Area rose the most at 17.7 times during 1999 and 2014,but the value of ecosystem services and ecological deficit were of the largest decline,which means that the rapid economic development in the Binhai New Area of social economy is at the cost of high resources consumption and the ecological destruction,which is not sustainable.Learning from the development modes of Shanghai Pudong New Area and Shenzhen,Tianjin Binhai New Area could strengthen and reform related policy from three aspects:industrial structure,spacial layout and ecological environment,to achieve the sustainable development of the city.Because the urban sustainable development is in relation with all the system elements of the social economy,land layout and ecological environment.Only through the efforts on the mode change of production and life,to achieve the coordinated production,living and ecological environment,can the environmental and social conditions stably support people's development of safety,wealth and health,as well as the sustainable development of city.
