In mechanical design,the spatial four bar mechanism is widely used because of its compact simple structure and various forms of motion.However,the analysis and research of it need a strong three-dimensional sense of space,relatively complex design formulas and sufficient understanding of many parameters and their variations,so it is of great significance to research the parametric and programmed design of the spatial four bar mechanism for the improvement of design efficiency.ADAMS is a software which is widely used in the analysis and optimization of the virtual prototype of the mechanical industry in recent years.Compared with software such as UG and SolidWorks,it has more convenient,fast and clear simulation features in motion and dynamics analysis of space mechanism and design optimization.At present,there are few studies of parametric modeling,simulation analysis and optimization technology of spatial four bar linkage by using ADAMS at home and abroad.In this context,we propose the subject of “Research of Parametric Modeling and Analysis Optimization System of Spatial Four Bar linkage Based on ADAMS”.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The current research status and development trend of spatial four bar mechanism at home and abroad are discussed,and the parametric modeling scheme of spatial four bar mechanism is established.(2)Three kinds of spatial four bar mechanisms,RSSR,RRRR and RSSP,are selected.And the kinematic analytic expressions of the three mechanisms are obtained through the kinematic analysis by using classical analytic method.Through the study of the space movement form and its geometric composition of three kinds of space four bar mechanism,the expressions of the existence conditions of the three kinds of mechanism crank are determined.(3)Getting the three dimensional coordinate expression of the key point by solving the equations of the key points of the spatial four bar mechanism through MATLAB.(4)Using the parametric programming technology of ADAMS software,the key points of the spatial four bar mechanism are parameterized,and the three dimensional parametric model is constructed.(5)Spatial four bar mechanism modeling analysis and optimization system interface are created based on the research of the secondary development technology of ADAMS.The rapid modeling of the three kinds of spatial fourbar mechanism,the judgement of mechanism motion type and analysis and optimization of mechanism are realized.In this paper,the parametric modeling and analysis optimization system of spatial four bar mechanism is developed by using the ADAMS software and its secondary development technology,which can significantly shorten the cycle of spatial four bar mechanism design and development,greatly improve the design efficiency,has good practicability.The research has positive exploration and reference significance for using ADAMS software for solving the parametric,automatic and intuitive design problems of space rod mechanism.
