The complex network,as a hot topic in recent years,has aroused widespread concern of scholars in all fields.The past researches are Web and citation network,but now penetrate into all areas of the biological,transportation network and so on.As people know more about it,we now pay more attention to the dynamic traffic changes.As the interaction between static and dynamic of complex system,the realistic container liner system has evolved into an product under the influence of many factors such as economy,geography,culture and policy in the course of long-term historical evolution.Therefore,adopting the theoretical knowledge of complex networks can provide anew perspective for studying its complicated evolution mechanism and topological structure.At present,the researches mostly focus on the topology structure of static system,not considering the weight of the edge or just setting the weight value as a constant.Container liner shipping network as a complex network with social characteristics,we should concern more about performance characteristics of dynamic flow given by the weight of the network.The weighted network theory is applied to the container liner shipping network in this article.69 ports from the list of the top 10 liner companies in the world and Lloyd's List are selected as samples,and the shipping capacity on the route is constructed as the weight of edge.The small-world and scale-free characteristic of shipping networks has been validated.Considering the scale limitation and dynamic evolution characteristics of container liner shipping network,the model should not only include the addition of port nodes and preferred connections of routes,but also include reconnected lines between old ports.The BBV model is improved and the evolution rules are formulated.After verification by numerical simulation,it has the same mathematical characteristics as the actual container liner shipping network.The applicability of this improved model is illustrated.Finally,from the point of view of ports and liner companies,we put some forward proposals for improving the container liner shipping network.
