Entering 20th century, international trade developed to be the mainstream of the era, economic trade connections between various continents and regions are becoming increasingly frequent and connected than ever before.Due to its large carrying capacity and low shipping cost, maritime shipping plays an increasingly important role in facilitating global trade and economy.Since the emergence of the container,it has exerted huge impact on maritime trade and shipment, meanwhile, container transportation has also gradually developed to bridge various regions and ports.Firstly, the paper collects Maersk Line's world container route data, finds out key shipping nodes, characterizes the complex network map of global shipping network, and analyzes the small-world and scaled-free nature of the network by using the statistical properties of complex networks.Through degree centrality analysis, the paper concludes that Asia is a main shipping area of entire world,Europe and North America come to the second, while others are the least key areas. Then, based on the analysis of the real container shipping network, the paper selects ports container throughput and ports hinterland GDP as node fitness indexes, establishes an improved scaled-free complex network based on node fitness and the local world theory, and verifies the validity of the model through theoretical derivation, and compares the evolutionary results with the actual ones.By discussing the eigenvalue of the local world, successfully find out the most appropriate eigenvalue M to the model established in the thesis. This paper introduces node fitness and local world theory to establish the improved scaled-free network. This paper is applicable to predict the world maritime shipping network's movement while some of its nodes embrace the change, which has a guiding significance for complex network theory and practical use.
