| The safety of multi-berth tankers are facing more and more challenges due to the number of berths used for oil tanker operations in liquid port area becomes denser.Therefore,the diffusion law of VOCs in multi-berth tanker operation which is simulated by CFD numerical simulation under the influence of different factors,such as diffusion intensity,sea temperature and sea wind speed can effectively predict and control dangerous accidents and ensure the working environment of port area and the safety of personnel’s life and property.First of all,by introducing the diffusion characteristics,diffusion types and diffusion modes of VOCs,we point out that the VOCs diffusion belongs to the concept of heavy gas cloud diffusion.Because the velocity of cross-wind diffusion of heavy gas cloud is much higher than that of vertical direction,the simulation and study area of this paper is all deck height plane on the sea area.Through the brief comparative analysis of some common diffusion models,we select the modified Gaussian model as the diffusion model of this simulation.Due to the basic idea of fluid mechanics is introduced briefly,and the GAMBIT mesh generation and FLUENT software in CFD technology are further introduced,we provide technical support for this simulation.Secondly,by analyzing the distribution of emission sources,the selection of sea environment and the characteristics of VOCs diffusion,we use the CFD technology to simulate the operation of single berth tanker.Then the general law of VOCs diffusion of single berth tanker is obtained as below: In the early stage of diffusion,the main factor is the diffusion intensity.In the process of VOCs diffusion,the influence of sea temperature and sea wind speed is great.According to this,the diffusion intensity,sea area temperature and sea area wind speed are selected as the three main influencing factors to simulate the VOCs diffusion of multi-berth tanker.Thirdly,through the analysis of the simulation of multi-berth tanker’s liquid and cargo operation,the rules of dangerous area are summarized as below: The higher the diffusion intensity of the diffusion point source,the greater the concentration of the downwind gas.With the rising of sea temperature,the pressure of VOCs near the diffusion point of upwind direction is more and more higher.With the increase of wind speed,the concentration of diffusive gas in downwind direction will decrease.Finally,Based on the theoretical analysis and evaluation process of multi-berth tankeroperation safety in liquid port area and the construction of safety system of multi-berth tanker operation in liquid port area,suggestions on risk prevention of oil tanker in liquid port area are put forward from the point of views of personnel,ship,environment and management respectively.By reducing or avoiding the occurrence of dangerous accidents,the transportation safety of oil tankers at the sea area can be guaranteed,and the degree of hazard caused by disaster accidents can be effectively reduced. |
