Research On Cargohold Subdivision Design Of Tanker Based On Risk Ideology | | Posted on:2017-04-09 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:M Y Jing | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2272330482978543 | Subject:Ships and marine structures, design of manufacturing | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | In engineering applications,risk and reliability analysis has been more and more recognized as a decision support mean.Design based on risk is generated by blending these methods into design process.Leading safety targets into design process, integrating related calculation tools,quantifying involved risk to evaluate with the use of criterion,which are the current risk-based design process.The background and status of design based on risk was firstly presented.Risk ideology and ideology of ship design based on risk were expatiated.Furthermore,oil spillage parameter,capacity in cargo area and force effect of cargo compartments on hull girder when fully loaded,which were the objective functions based on risk-based design,were determined according to the characteristics of Aframax tanker cargo area.Primary scale of cargo hold was designed in the thought of multi-objective optimization genetic algorithm.The processes of multi-objective optimization GA and graphic user image were written with the use of MATLAB. The cargo area of one real ship was redesigned when the scale information was input in optimization program,then the optimum solution was selected with the method of data processing.The weighting factor was applied to the objective functions in multi-objective optimization from the perspectives of risk minimization and benefit maximization respectively. Two single-objective optimization objective functions were integrated.The corresponding optimal solutions were obtained with the calculation of MATLAB optimization toolbox. Every optimal solution received in different algorithms was analyzed and explained in comparison with scale of real ship,which validated the applicability and reliability of ship design based on risk method.The oil spillage algorithm issued in MARPOL Annex1 was lucubrated. The algorithm with the consideration of multi-compartment damage was proposed after the analysis of probability of multi-compartment damage.The wing hold reduction factor mentioned in cargo ship damage probability theory in SOLAS was applied in spillage algorithm,and it proved the reliability of the attempt that the calculation result was close to the true value.The principle of an oil spillage alternative calculation was studied and put use to the real ship.The result closed to the solution in algorithm with the consideration of multi-compartment damage verified dependability of the algorithm and provided the reference for the potential improvement of oil spillage algorithm in MARPOL in the future. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Aframax Tanker, Risk Design Ideology, MOGA, Multi-compartment Damage, Oil Spillage Algorithm | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
