A Study On 3D Simulation Of Advanced Training Of Oil Tanker Cargo Operation

As one of the special ships,oil-chemical tanker should pay special attention to safety in order to avoid the explosion,personnel poisoning and other malignant events.The occurrence of accidents is related to the proficiency of seaman skills.Traditional practice training mainly through the teacher to explain,the student practical operation and assist in the simulator,the training cost is high,the understanding level of students is low,and the traditional simulator are mostly twodimensional,lack of sense of immersion and reality,so research on 3D simulator is very important.This study with a model ship for reference,combined with personal work experience,the modeling technology and simulation technology is applied to advanced training of oil tanker cargo operation,build a mathematical model and 3D physical model and human-computer interaction,design a set of basic simulation operating system for examination students.The system uses 3ds Max as modeling software,by creating,modifying and editing model to make the model more realistic.The mathematical simulation of the washing machine,valve parts and pipes is carried out,and the interactive design is carried out in Unreal Engine 4(UE4).First created in UE4,set the landform object collision and create animation and other basic interactive design;then in accordance with the design of crude oil tank washing process,using the blueprint for the operation process of logic programming;practical training system and finally generate a set of simulation,training and assessment for students.Based on the analysis of the application of virtual reality technology at home and abroad,this paper combines the advanced training of tanker cargo operation with virtual reality technology,and selects UE4 as interactive software.As a powerful game engine,UE4 has obvious advantages in picture rendering and function processing.After introducing it into the ship simulator,it can be designed as a single or multi person online operation mode,and also can use the external VR equipment to make the boring skills training develop to the game direction.Students repeated training and examination by the system,in order to improve their skills.The system has low cost and can be released to computers,mobile phones and somatosensory devices.It meets the requirements of China MSA for training and assessment of seaman.It has certain market value and practical significance.
