The water hydraulic transmission technology using seawater or fresh water as working medium directly has advantages of pollution-free,energy saving,cheapness etc,that makes it important in the new process of industrialization and becoming a hotspot in the field of fluid transmission.Water hydraulic relief valve is a important safety control component in water hydraulic transmission system,and it guarantees the safety and stability of the system.As a result,it is quite necessary to develop the water hydraulic relief valve.First of all,according to the key technical problems such as wear,cavitation,easy erosion and leakage in the working process of the water hydraulic relief valve,proposes corresponding solutions in the design and machining process,and ultimately determines the overall schematic structure of the water hydraulic pilot relief valve The structure design and theoretical analysis of the water hydraulic pilot relief valve is also carried on.Secondly,the static characteristics are calculated,and the dynamic characteristics of the valve are simulated with software AMESim.The effect of damping hole diameter,spring stiffness,the quality of the spool on the relief valve performance are respectively researched in order to optimize the structural parameters of the valve and ultimately to improve the static and dynamic characteristics of the relief valve.Thirdly,the flow characteristics of the optimized valve are simulated by using software Fluent.This paper analyses the flow characteristics of the valve port under different valve structure conditions so as to guide the design of water hydraulic pilot relief valve,and ultimately developes a prototype of the relief valve.Finally,builds the test program of the prototype and carries out the comprehensive test using the hydraulic test system and software LabVIEW.Also,this paper analyzes the test results,and puts forward the corresponding improvement measures aiming at solving the problems found in the course of the experiment.
