Research On Protection And Planning Of Traditional Villages In Mentougou District In Western Beijing Under The Background Of Rural Tourism

In the long course of civilization,traditional villages have recorded the historical activities of mankind.As the main origin and inheritance of traditional cultures,they contain rich historical and cultural information.Located in the west part of Beijing,Mentougou District gives priority to mountainous environment,and the mountainous feature of high mountains and lofty hills makes it have a later impact of modern civilization,so that a large number of traditional villages have been reserved.Due to the simple and unsophisticated style and features patterns,as well as profound historical culture,the traditional villages in Mentougou District are important cultural heritage resources.However,under the big environment of the current urbanization development,it is also difficult for the traditional villages in Mentougou District to resist the impact of the outside world,and they gradually decline.With rich tourism resources and favorable location conditions,its rural tourism has developed rapidly in recent years.And due to the rich historical and cultural resources,the traditional village in Mentougou District attracts a large number of tourists,and it becomes an important destination in rural tourism.At the same time of bringing economic development,updating of social culture and the environment to the traditional villages in Mentougou District,and serving as a life-saving straw for traditional villages at the edge of decline,rural tourism also exerts certain negative impact to them,bringing many realistic problems.Therefore,how to protect and plan the traditional villages in Mentougou District scientifically and rationally,so as to maximize the positive impact of tourism and minimize its negative impact,has become a problem to be solved urgently.In this paper,by taking the traditional villages in Mentougou District as the research object,first of all,it analyzes and sorts out the development status of rural tourism in Mentougou District,as well as the system characteristics,heritage resources,present situation and the existing problems,etc.,of traditional villages in Mentougou District.Secondly,by the field investigation of typical traditional villages,it analyzes and verifies the impact of rural tourism development on the traditional villages in Mentougou District;on this basis,it emphasizes on the study and proposal of the measures for protecting and developing the traditional villages in Mentougou District under the background of rural tourism.In the end,by selecting the protection and development planning of Jieshi Village as a case,it makes a comparative analysis of the planning and compilation situations,which then puts forward some suggestions of protecting,developing,planning and compiling the traditional villages in Mentougou District.It is hoped that the study can provide certain reference to the protection and planning of the traditional villages in Mentougou District,so as to maximize the positive impact of tourism,and reduce its negative impact to at utmost.
