Due to the increasing complexity of broadband test signals,existing test instruments and test methods have gradually encountered technical bottlenecks.The PXIe wideband signal transceiver module is gradually occupying a place in the field of broadband signal testing because it also has the capability of wideband signal acquisition and wideband signal forwarding,as well as on-site programming and custom digital signal processing functions.It adopts a modularized test instrument function built under the common platform,which has the characteristics of openness and flexibility.It can complete the function expansion through software update,and can also realize the technical index change through the replacement and superposition of the module.It has the functions of independent broadband signal reception and wideband signal transmission.It has the features of rich functions and improved indicators.It can use a single instrument to complete two kinds of test functions to save space,and can effectively improve the delay interval and other indicators of broadband signal transmission.Realize mutual transmission and utilization of test data.Domestically,there are relatively few researches on the devices that simultaneously complete the functions of transmitting and receiving wideband signals.To complete the signal forwarding function,it is often necessary to use a broadband signal receiving instrument to complete the signal acquisition function,and transmit the sampled data to a broadband signal transmission instrument to complete the signal generation through the high-speed bus.The whole process has a long delay and the integration of the transceiver system is low.Therefore,it is necessary to research the acquisition and generation circuit of the PXIe wideband signal transceiver module.This paper uses the JESD204 B and PXIe high-speed serial bus technology,and builds a high-speed,high-resolution analog-to-digital conversion platform based on the standard 3U board card.The research and design of the acquisition and generation circuit of the PXIe broadband signal transceiver module are carried out.The main research contents of this design include:1.The system structure of the PXIe wideband signal acquisition and generation circuit is introduced,and the modules that realize its various functions are analyzed andthe system implementation scheme is constructed.2.The hardware circuit scheme for the acquisition and generation of wideband signals is studied.Using JESD204 B high-speed serial bus technology,a hardware data interface circuit with ADC,DAC,and FPGA as the core is designed,and the hardware logic design of high-speed data transmission and reception in FPGA is completed to realize broadband signal acquisition,forwarding and generation.3.The basic model of charge pump phase-locked loop(PLL)is established and its basic principle is studied.The optimization method of phase-locked loop output phase noise is proposed.Based on this principle,a low-jitter system clock circuit is designed.4.The hardware specifications and related protocols of the PXIe bus interface are studied.Based on this protocol,the communication platform between the controller and the module is built.The hardware logic inside the FPGA is designed to connect with the PXIe bus.Through the research and design of the above content,the modular instrument with PXIe interface has finally achieved the functions of broadband signal acquisition and generation,laying a solid foundation for the development of the PXIe broadband signal transceiver module.
