In recent years,with the rapid development of China's economy and society,the fire safety situation is becoming severe with frequent fire in high-rise buildings,large span and large space building,petrochemical fire and combustible gas leakage accident,complex situation,fire emergency rescue is more and more difficult for firefighters,for action requirements are increasingly high,which leading to be disastrous consequences.In addition,frequent natural disasters in China such as wind,flood,earthquake,landslides,mudslides and other accidents are usually involving personnel,loss with the affected area is large,with conventional means,usually can not be fast and accurate to carry out reconnaissance and rescue.Based on literature review and nearly 10 years of firefighting force and rescue cases on fire fighting and emergency rescue,combined with the actual needs of the task,break the inherent spatial thinking,put forward to help the fire emergency rescue operations using drones,perform aerial reconnaissance,flammable/toxic gas leak detection,ship launch relief materials and other tasks,enhance the level of fire and emergency rescue measures.This paper adopts investigation,access to information and other methods,grasp the deficiencies in the disposal of dangerous gas leakage accident as the basic means;Then takes a combination of qualitative and quantitative,method with precise functional requirements proposed for gas detection of UAV;Finally,adopted the method of theory and practice to combine the performance of UAV the overall performance and airborne gas detection system was tested and analysed,and finally made full use of the fire emergency rescue combat UAV performance test.The main contents of this paper includes 4 aspects.(1)According to the need of fire emergency rescue task,the author determined the structure form and function use of UAV,and completed the selection and development of UAV platform.(2)The research and implementation of the airborne gas detection system for UAV is focused on.The research and selection of gas sensors are carried out,and the hardware circuit design and software programming of airborne gas detection system are completed.(3)According to the design target of UAV,the main performance parameters of UAV and airborne gas detection system are tested and analyzed.(4)The practical application of UAV is analyzed and investigated,and the specific measures are put forward for the trial application of UAV.The UAV developed in this paper not only has the function of air image detection,but also has the functions of air delivery materials,rope traction,flammable/toxic gas detection,and is equipped with 100 meter elevating pod,achieving the remote or even over the horizon under the condition of flammable / toxic gas detection,which effectively reduced the risk of fire safety disposal of combustible / toxic gas leakage accident,and fundamentally prevented personnel injury accident,and therefore improve the means and ability of fire emergency rescue.
