A Study On The Types And Characteristics Of Lattice Windows In Traditional Houses In Shonan Area

Shonan is in the south of Hunan border area,since ancient times is the edge of the county area.It is belonged to Nanling mountain water system,and borders the Nanling with Guangdong and back on to Guangxi.Due to the special geographical location,since ancient times,there has a deep impact on Shonan by Chu culture,Cantonese culture and the Central Plains culture and many other cultures.The ancient houses in the south of Hunan Province are an important part of the architectural culture of the south of Hunan.As one of the important elements of the residential decoration structure,window is the carrier of the material culture and the carrier of the spiritual culture.It embodies the rich culture of the artistic and ideological of the traditional architecture of southern Hunan.Based on the architectural history theory and the interdisciplinary research,this paper studies the types and characteristics of traditional Chinese folk lattice windows in Shonan area.The research of this paper is based on the following aspects: at the macro level,from the geographical characteristics,natural resources,social and cultural aspects of the southern region of the geographical and human environment for a detailed study and research;in the meso level,from the development of the window This paper analyzes the characteristics of Shounan lattice window and analyzes the characteristics of the lattice windows in the south of Hunan Province,and compares it with the landscape of the Lingnan dwelling windows.Based on the time and space in two dimensions,study the mechanism of formation and development reflect the nature of southern hunan lattice window in the comparison,puts forward the design of modern architectural Windows from advice of southern lattice window,related research has certain enlightening role in the future.
