Along with the development in Chinese railway system,the new electrified railway are continually established.At present,the existing speed rail,intercity railway and the newly built high-speed railway will gradually connect the domestic railway network.However,in addition to the basic "train-track" system,the power source "train-power supply" system is also important.In this busy Chinese railway system,the safety operation of “Traction Power Supply System” may influence the running stability of trains on rail.If the "traction power supply system" fails in the train operation,it is difficult to find the fault point by manpower.However,the fault spot can be found quickly and accurately through the method of traveling wave ranging,which greatly reduces the time delay caused by troubleshooting.Not only because of the widely use of AT power supply system in high speed railway,but also because of needs in safety and reliability of electrified railway operation,in-depth study and development of fault location system is of great significance.In this article,through the use of multiple conductor transmission line theory,the AT power supply circuit impedance matrix and admittance matrix are equivalent to merge,after further operation in lower matrix dimensions and impedance and admittance data after 12 d matrix can be consolidated into 6d.After analyzing the equivalent conductor transmission line modulus,the traveling wave velocity is calculated.Finally,by decoupling the fault line and transforming the wavelet,the fault distance can be get.The main data of this paper is completed by MATLAB,and the Simulink simulation model is built.The simulation model is mainly refer to the AT power supply contact network of Hangzhou-Changsha high-speed railway.According to the construction layout and related material electrical parameters,this paper simulate potential malfunctions and locations,and then conclude with high-precision data of fault location.By comparing the result with findings in range impedance method which is used by on-site AT power supply maintenance,the cost of onsite manual check can be reduced and the time of finding fault can be shortened...
