Merit Affordable Housing Practice And Design Methodology

Housing problem is a common global issue.Although solving home ownership seemed to be government's problem,architects also play an essential role.Providing affordable and cost affective housing is the long-term goal that motivated me.The thesis of this paper is to provide affordable housing solution combined with practical design,which is based on my 25 years of practice experience and attitudes.Similarly,to educate most professionals to apprehend the key influences to affordable housing in combination with social resources,which underlines its importance and perceptions.In addition,it focuses on improving living and environmental experience relying on oriental site-specific variable living environment strategy rather than western industrialized mass housing solution.Moreover,introduce a more intellectual philosophy,which is established on service and architectural entrepreneurship that benefits both people and the government.Hopefully,this may contribute to oriental affordable housing discussion.By helping to improve the trust relationship between clients and developers it could create a harmony society to encourage all the professionals in the business,and form a new philosophy of the social services by using the professional knowledge that gain from the society.In most of the Architecture studios,the normal design procedure is most likely spending time on fulfilling developers' requests and devoting fewer efforts on exercising the commercial interest.The author develops a method that can examine the construction cost of the design,and by doing that,it could help to reduce the unnecessary expense and keep the project itself being competitive.With the purpose of balancing the relationship between developers and residents,integrating related industries in order to maximize the value of the design and the quality of living is essential.Under all this process,the practical data are provided to the related business,this could form a positive cycle in the business and help to improve living quality.Practical exercises are provided to prove practicalness.
