Vehicle development process have characteristic of iteration.Design result will need updating once marketing configuration adjusting,styling surface optimization,process changes,rules and laws updating,vehicle performance and quality verification and cost-down.And then will result in engineering change.Engineering changes will bring opportunities and challenges,the opportunity means that products will best match customer requirement after design optimization;on the other hand,because engineering change majorly is complex and effect differently in different vehicle,once delay hard points milestone(such as prototype assembly,on road test in summer and winner,ect.),the challenge means that bad engineering change make time uncontrolled.This subject is planned to reach 2 goals,the first purpose is to analyze engineering change propagation between systems or parts by using Design Structure Matrix based on part method;the other purpose is to find coupling tasks in engineering change process using by Design Structure Matrix based on tasks method,and then reduce the coupling tasks.This study will supply tools and method for product engineer and engineering change management stuffs for higher level engineering change control,meanwhile will make engineering change process faster and well-regulated.
