With the continuous development of servo control technology and modern power electronics technology,permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM)has been widely used in various fields of industrial control because of its many advantages,such as excellent dynamic performance,simple control,large torque output,safety and reliability.As with the ordinary motor,PMSM parameters will change with the operating conditions,operating environment and running time.In recent years,many advanced control strategies have been proposed by domestic and foreign scholars,and most of these advanced control strategies rely on the parameters of PMSM.Therefore,the real-time and accurate acquisition of PMSM parameters is an important prerequisite for the realization of PMSM reliable state monitoring,high performance control,and it is also an effective method of early fault diagnosis.As to the above phenomenon,the PMSM control system and parameter identification technology is studied in this paper,which is based on generalizing the existing literatures.After the detailed description of the development process of PMSM,the characteristics,classification and structure of PMSM,and the single parameter and multi parameter identification of PMSM,the mathematical model of PMSM in different coordinate systems is analyzed and the PMSM control methods are summarized and compared,including the internal structure of PMSM,the establishment of mathematical model.Then,the paper analyzes the reasons of the change of PMSM parameters and points out the influence of PMSMparameters on the control system,in addition,summarized the usual identification methods of PMSM.On the basis of analyzing the mathematic model of the PMSM under d-q coordinate,a novel rotor position estimation scheme using online parameter identification based on grey model was suggested in this paper,which will meet the need of sensorless control for PMSM.And then,the sensorless vector control system of PMSM was set up based on this position and speed estimation approach.In the simulation software Matlab/Simulink,the corresponding control model is designed,and the parameter identification method and the improved scheme are verified by simulation.The results of simulation show that the proposed method is capable of precisely estimating the rotor space position and speed,it has strong parameter robustness and is able to achieve stable operation under the bigger disturbance.
