Investigation And Protection Of The Historical Layering In Chengdu Ancient City From The Perspective Of Historical Urban Landscape

Cities are cabs of human's life.Humans facing the contradiction between protections of historical heritage and developments of cities,it is the ideas of Historic Urban Landscape layering proposed that provide new methods to solve this problem.Chengdu,as a city which has not ever been moved or changed its name for nearly 2000 years,is one of the typical cities with long histories and many cultures.Chengdu ancient city was the center of ancient city development.It owns great quantities of information which is worth studying.The information benefits the study in many aspects.To study the historical stratification of ancient cities is worth enriching and improving the protection plan of Chengdu historical and cultural city.In addition,it will make a great contribution to coordinating the relationship between the protection of cultural heritage and city's further development of the city.Base on studying and investigating Chengdu history,the author will regard the whole development of Chengdu ancient city as the research object and analyse the effect of different times on Chengdu.The author will make the process of the history as a point,value the history culture resources in ancient city in terms of layer features of urban development and finally put forward some advice for Chengdu famous historical and cultural city protection planning.First of all,the author will study the process of Chengdu development on the background of the politics,economy,history,culture change and development.It will divide the whole history into 6 parts,and analyse the features showed in each time.Second,with different kinds of history resource,the author will translate the ancient map into the current map,and investigate history resources of Chengdu ancient city.Then the author will sort these data according to space,streets and sites,and draw the history elements distribution diagram of Chengdu ancient city.This lays the foundation of the evaluation of history layering values.Third,with GIS overlay analysis tool,the author will study and analyse the history,time,value showed from the data,draw the history elements distribution diagram of Chengdu ancient city and build the historical layering feature space network.So the valuable history culture resources and layers left from the history can be seen clearly.Last,based on the historical layering feature space network and knowledge of urban planning,the author will give advice for Chengdu famous historical and cultural city protect ion planning from the entire structure of the ancient city protection and the strategy of the ancient city space protection.
