With the technical support from MBD(Model Based Definition),there appear new technical demands for aircraft design and manufacturing.Machining high-quality parts accurately and efficiently has great importance to program research and product quality improvement.Based on the digital processing technology,combining the demands of titanium alloy special shape-beam joint manufacturing technology,this paper makes a systematic research on relevant aspects.Through the analysis of machinability and machining characteristics of titanium alloy,this paper mainly studied the following relevant aspects: the locating and clamping methods of die forging of titanium alloy special shape-beam joint,the efficient machining methods of high-precision bi-directional taper hole,the deformation control technologies of deep-narrow double lug pockets,the machining methods of taper milling cutter with angle closure and the rapid exchanging methods of general fixture.Through above research,high-efficiency machining and engineering application are achieved for special shape-beam joints of titanium alloy parts,and process design and product quality are also improved.Achievements are as follows.First,it analyzes the structural characteristics of aircraft parts and machinability based on MBD mode.Take special shape-beam joints of titanium alloy parts for example.Through the detailed analysis of design demands,structural features,processing characteristics and development schedule,it provides more materials for the design of typical process grogram.Second,it studies the locating and clamping technology of NC machining based on digital technology.Also take special shape-beam joints of titanium alloy parts as an example.Systematic research is made on the design patterns for die forging stock,clamping flexibility technology and the rapid exchanging methods of general fixture.Third,the typical structure design of parts is completed under existing production conditions and environment.Research is made on processing methods,processing tools and machining parameters based on the typical features of angle closure theory of cavity,high-precision bidirectional taper holes,and deep-narrow double lug pockets.Using the suggested efficient process technology solutions of titanium alloy,compliance test is made on processing methods and production process for the typical parts of a certain program.The compliance test covers the entire manufacturing process,including the parts' process plan,clamping and locating methods,cutting parameters,feature machining and deformation control.
