Spatial And Temporal Evolution Of Rural Human Settlement Quality In Hills In Southern China

Xijinpin comrades emphasized homesickness on the development of economic and urbanization construction on the central working conference of urbanization.As rural is the space carrier of homesickness,evaluation for rural human settlements is very important with the industrialization and modernization of its far-reaching influence.In recent years,rural human settlement environment research gradually,but less attention have been taken to hills in southern China.It is positive the oretical and social value to study the rural human settlement environment of Ganzhou,which is a typical representative of the region,and contributes to understanding the features and evolution law of southern hillside area.Taking 18 counties(ordistricts)in Ganzhou as the research objects,the article constructs evaluation system for rural human settlements,including the target layer,system layer and index layer.Entropy TOPSIS model is applied to evaluate the quality of rural human settlements in hills in southern China,and Arc GIS 9.3 and Geoda are adopted to analyze its spatial-temporaldifferentiation and spatial autocorrelation.The results show that:1.From 2000 to2015,Ganzhou’srural human settlements presents the spatial pattern“the overall fall behind,some parts keep stable”;2.The social and cultural environmental index keeps the largest proportion while economical index the smallest proportion among the five first-level indicators except in2005,which suggest that it is necessary to add social and cultural environmental index to evaluation system for rural human settlements;3.social and cultural environmental and infrastructure construction are the main factors in rural human settlements,while social and cultural environment is the most effective way and infrastructure construction the most direct measures for improving the rural human settlements.Through analyzing the formation mechanism of human settlements space characteristics,the author expects to provide references and suggestions for the construction of Ganzhou rural settlements.Meanwhile,this research is trying to provide theoretical support and scientific basis and promote regional coordinated development of rural human settlements for the same type in southern China’s hills.
