The Design Of Public Toilet Supporting Real Estate Development In Foshan

Foshan,one of the most dynamic cities in the pearl river delta area,has been developing rapidly in recent years.The amount of the commercial housing area has been the first in Guangdong Province.Also,Foshan won the great reputation in the nation in 2015.Thus,it is of great benefit to investigate and learn from the experience of the construction of public toilets for managing and constructing a livable city.The public toilets built by the government are mainly located in urban areas with great floating population,such as blocks,parks,green areas and squares.The public toilets supporting for the real estate development(hereinafter referred to as supporting public toilets)are the public service facilities that were planned,designed,constructed and accepted by the real estate development project.It is a great measure to make good use of social capital to upgrade.In recent years,thanks to the boom in real estate industry,the construction of the public toilets has been put in motion,which helps it meet the demand of the citizens.So,the supporting toilets play a significant role in infrastructure upgrade.Through the on-the-spot investigation of supporting public toilets in Foshan,I analyzed the existing problems of public toilets,which is the foundation of the paper.Comparing the construction situation,the toilet users,the feature demands,and the daily maintenance of public toilets with those of the toilets in parks and chargeable toilets,I found out the design should meet requirements of interests balance,convenience,utility,environmental protection and environment coexistence.In addition,the advantages and disadvantages shown in the use of other public toilets in Foshan helped us come out with a suitable design of supporting public toilets,which should meet five basic requirements and the current urban development needs.What's more,the location,layout plans,functional design,airing and lighting,deodorization,integration of facade and environment and humanization measures of public toilets should be discussed as well.Finally,we considered the function of urban public toilets extension,and the problems of resource utilization from the perspective of the sustainable operation and maintenance of public toilets.As a result,we put forward a constructing strategy which can be adapted to the current urban development.
