Research On Data Integration Technology For IETM

With the rapid development of modern science and technology,the information level of weapon systems is continuously improved.The technical information relating to the weapon system also appears in a large amount,which leads to the difficulties in managing,using and updating these information.In order to enhance the information construction of logistics support of weapon systems,the research on interactive electronic technical manual(IETM)is of great theoretical significance and practical value.During the process of developing IETM,there are many problems such as information sharing difficulties and semantic heterogeneity of data among the databases because of the great amount of involved organizations and institutes.These problems make the intermediate process cumbersome and they make the development process slower,furthermore,they lead to the delay in delivery of the IETM.In order to solve the problems above,this paper proposed a data integration technology for IETM.And the paper focuses on the method for mapping establishment between relational databases and ontologies,the method for the construction of the hybrid ontology model for IETM and semantic similarity calculation method for IETM.Then the methodology was verified by the case of the weapon system.The detailed contents are as follows:(1)Research on the framework of data integration for IETM.The paper demonstrated the necessity of data integration by analyzing the development process of IETM and the existing problems.On the basis of previous work,this paper constructed the framework of data integration for IETM using ontology mapping method based on D2 R,construction method of hybrid ontology model for IETM and compound similarity algorithm for IETM and other key technologies.(2)Research on the method for mapping between relational databases and ontologies based on D2 R.This paper introduced a mapping tool-----D2 R to solve practical problems.Firstly,this paper introduced the framework of D2 R and its application for automatically generating a mapping file,then the grammar of D2 RQ Mapping languages was presented,and finally an example of MySQL was shown for the detail operations.(3)Research on hybrid ontology model construction method for IETM.According to the characteristics of the development process of IETM and the construction principles of ontologies,this paper put forward the ontology model construction method for IETM.And the method was applied to the IETM development of a weapon system,which verified the feasibility of the method.(4)Research on compound similarity algorithm for IETM.For the apllication of Chinese characters and Chinese semantics,there are some deficiencies of semantic similarity calculation.Therefore,this paper drew Synonyms similarity calculation method based on morpheme and put forward a semantic similarity calculation method for IETM.The method considered three-aspect factors: the concept itself,the structure and the property,finally the results can be calculated by assging weights to each factor.(5)Based on above theoretical researches,this paper developed an auxiliary tool system for IETM development process.The system was developed to achieve the function of unified data query in different relational databases of semantic heterogeneity.And the queried data can be automatically processed to generate the Data Module,which will accelerate the development process of IETM.
