The railway,with its economical,efficient,safe and environmental benefits,has been occupying an important position in China's integrated transport system.The issue of cohesion and coordination,originates from railway planning and evaluation,is objectively required by the demand of new era to ensure the healthy development of railway network.Based on the above background,the thesis offers feasible planning models from 3 perspectives of railway planning,so as to bring helpful analysis and solution for this very topic.Firstly,cutting in just from railway planning and evaluation,considerable documents and researched are studied to make primary preparation for the interpretation of related concepts.Secondly,the thesis summarizes the existed research on the cohesion and coordination of transport network,the concept is vague and ambiguous,and may cover indefinitely,but in this paper,it is based on and connected to the regional railway network all the time,so centered on regional railway network,by putting use of system theory,coordination theory and so-called sustainable development,the thesis successfully makes an articulation of its very meaning,afterwards,3 objectives in macro view are proposed,including the cohesion and coordination 1)between the railway's construction scale and the regional economic development;2)between the railway's layout and the regional urban spatial structure;3)between railway and other transportation modes in the region.So,this part is mostly about theoretical foundation.It's not likely to dig them all in a master thesis,so the thesis chooses to synthesize all those important elements from the perspective of railway planning.Thirdly,the thesis starts building railway planning model by its topological structure.The 1st model takes consideration of the network's connectivity,connecting efficiency and reliability,elementary algorithm and program are designed to allow massive calculation such as an optimization process of 1 million times.Furthermore,another model from single-view of the network's socioeconomic performance is presented.A numerical example is applied with 2 separate models.The result shows its necessity to combine 2 views and so to make an integrated model.In the integrated model,the model takes 10 samples of stochastic optimization from the 1st model,10 samples from the 2nd model to make up a sample pool,the weight of each indicator is calculated by entropy method.We use genetic algorithm to optimize the ultimate result.Adequate analysis and comparisons are made to show its superiority over the 2 single-view models.In the end,the thesis makes an overall conclusion,prospects and outlooks are also made for further improvements.
