Study On The Pattern Of Planning For Mordern University Of China Under The Cultural View

In the recent years,China keeps advancing rapidly with its social ecnomical transition,at the same time universities keep increasing their total amount of students,and cities keep enlarging theirself. Pushed by the educational demand and the chance of development, the constructing of our university garden has got a great achievement,however it faces more and more problems that the univesities cannot do well in both the"quantity"and"quality", the univesity gardens lost their characters and look like each other, the univesity gardens are always lack of humanic atmosphere, the univesity gardens little by little lost their charm.Architects and schoolars have tried a lot to solve the problems, but they get different results.Standing on the cultural angle of view, quoting the theories of culturalism, this essay builds its own frame of theory,and then studies the demands advanced by the cultural elements,for examples views of values,systems of management,etc. and summarizes the tactics of planning for garden of university.At last,in virtue of these conclusions and essential analysing,the essay will advance the solution for the problems ahead.This essay has three parts:The first part talks about the study on topic and concept.Chapter 1 is the intruduction.It discusses the purpose of the topic,the domestic and foreign relative theories,the frame of this theory,and the innovative points of this theory. Chapter 2 discusses the concept of"culture"and the value of the cultural angle of view.it firstly discusses the acceptation of"culture",then the definition of"culture"through culturalism ang archi- culturalism view,finally sum-ups the concept of"culture"in this essay and transforms the congcept-element struction to the theory-studing struction.Most important,in the end it discusses the value of the studying on campus pllanning through the cultural angle of view.The second part is about the study on theory. Chapter 4 discusses the relation between the cultural elements and the campus planning.It firstly talks about the morden background,then through the five angles----view of value,systems of management,systems of activities,regional tradiction,artistic tasts,it discusses how the five elements influence the existing,managing,working,constructing of the university,and what demands the five elements bring forward before the campus space. Based on Chapter 4,Chapter 5 summarizes the characters that the cultural elements demand campus planning to have.The third part is about the applying of the theory. Chapter 6 try to apply the campus planning theory under cultural angle of view,they focus on two problems----how to build a humanic campus space and how to build the university garden.They start their analyse from the background, then unscramble the substance of the problems through the cultural angle of view, go on and find the solution at last.
