In recent years,with the Shandong power grid entering the stage of large power grid,large capacity,UHV,AC and DC hybrid,smart grid,the complexity of the power system has increased significantly,and the problem of power grid security and stability is becoming more and more prominent.In order to further optimize the grid structure of distribution network and enhance the power supply capacity,liaison ability and automation level of the medium and low voltage distribution network,Zaozhuang area actively applies the smart grid technology to enhance the operation security,flexibility and reliability of the distribution network.Scholars at home and abroad have carried out a lot of theoretical and Experimental Research on the fault location of distribution network,automatic identification and isolation of fault points.The fault section location is less used in the distribution network.It is necessary to make more in-depth and systematic research on the algorithm,principle and signal acquisition.This paper introduces the current research status and problems of distribution automation at home and abroad.Combining with the construction and application of distribution automation in Zaozhuang power grid,this paper analyzes the commonly used types of distribution automation,introduces the principle of centralized distribution automation and local distribution automation respectively,and makes a detailed analysis of the multi point voltage sags fault location method.When a fault occurs in a certain area of the system,the power quality measurement device collects the information of the nodes of the distribution network.Through the analysis of relevant data,the highest correlation is the location of the fault point through the comparison and analysis of the data in the database.The accuracy of fault location is verified by the simulation of the fault of each section of the distribution network.This method can realize the accurate location of the fault points in the multi branch and multi load complex distribution network structure.By analyzing typical distribution network failures in recent years in Zaozhuang area,the reasons for reclosing failure and fault interval discrimination are summarized,and improvement measures are put forward.
