In recent years,with the continuous improvement of the number of motor vehicles in china,Theft of motor vehicles occurred frequently.The positioning of motor vehicles and the determination of suspects have become the difficulties in the detection of such cases.This paper presents a remote monitoring and positioning system for motor vehicle anti-theft,which can monitor and position the stolen vehicles.The embedded system based on ARM chip is a special microcomputer system,which can realize the special request of the application with the lowest power consumption and resources.It has the advantages of strong function and high efficiency.This paper aims at the existing problems in the remote monitoring and positioning system for stolen vehicles,through in-depth research,design and realize a remote monitoring and positioning system.The system consists of Vehicular front-end,data server and mobile phone terminal.The Vehicular front-end with the core ARM processor is built an embedded application platform,which can get power supply from battery.On the platform,the camera is used to capture the image inside the vehicle,and the GPS module is used to obtain the precise position of the vehicle,the 3G module is used to connect to the Internet by dialing.Captured images and GPS information which are processed and packaged on the embedded platform are sent to the server via the 3G module.The data server consists of the server and the database.The server takes Windows Server and Tomcat as the platform,take charge of sending SMS alerts,accepts the monitoring and positioning information of the vehicle front-end and stores them in the database.According to the request of the mobile terminal,the monitoring and positioning information is sent to the mobile terminal.The database uses MS SQL Server and Java as the development environment to complete data analysis,data storage,data query and other functions.The mobile terminal adopts Android platform,and has a simple user interface.First,it is established a network link with the data server,then,viewed the monitoring image of the car according to the requirements of the user,and also real-time viewed the trajectory of the vehicle in the map.It is demonstrated that the system in this paper basically matches the design requirements.The system can realize remote monitoring and positioning of motor vehicle anti-theft.
