Home automation is an important part of smart home.Various communication technologies have been used in home automation equipment and have their own advantages.However,due to there is no uniform standard,the equipment with different technologies cannot interconnect and the products are severely similar.To solve the problems and based on the requirement of the project of this thesis,Variable Secure Operable Protocol(VSOP),an application protocol,is designed for smart home automation devices.In order to meet the requirements of streamlining,high efficiency and resource sharing,VSOP uses hexadecimal to code and it designs the variable methods for interaction and description.For requirements of security,reliability,interconnection and interworking,VSOP adopts the technical schemes of optional encryption mode and two-way equipment validation in application layer.This paper uses two kinds of networks,simple RF and 6LoWPAN,to design typical nodes and coordinators,then through the design of testing software and combine with sniffer and network analysis software,a testing system is built to complete the protocal testing and application verifacation.The main contents of this paper include:1.The message structure,hierarchical model and system structure of VSOP is designed through the analysis and reference of many related technologies and the requirements of the standard formulating project.2.In order to realize the resource sharing and interoperability,this thesis designs and implements specifications which are variable definition and variable description,encryption and anomaly detection,network verification and device registration,address matching and message nesting,PDU operation and message numbering.3.The nodes and coordinators are realized by CC2530 to apply the specifications in simple RF network and 6LoWPAN.The VSOP network adapter,which can be extended by USB,is implemented to construct heterogeneous network.And the testing software by Qt on host computer is designed to test the VSOP message parsing.Meanwhile,a test system is also established.4.The test system is used to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the specifications of VSOP,the scheme of heterogeneous home network and the multi customer access service.Due to the different capability between simple RF network and 6LoWPAN,VSOP has different test results,which accord with the capability,in request-response time,success rate and error distribution.The test results indicate that VSOP reaches the expected objects,and can be used as a standard of application layer to overcome the weakness of interoperability in home automation equipment.For various home automation networks,the study of this work has a certain reference value for achieving the resources sharing,the interconnection and interworking by application protocol.
