Birds and insects have evolved for millions of years,which enables them to achieve efficient flapping flight movements.The flapping wing can simultaneously exhibit excellent maneuverability,long-term hovering,and cruising capabilities.This has practical application significance for high-altitude operations in enclosed area,it also has unique advantages in military reconnaissance.Although the flapping wing vehicle has more advantages than the fixed wing or rotary wing vehicle,its aerodynamic characteristics and vehicle design are more complicated.In addition,the flapping wing vehicle flies at the environment of fluid with unsteady low Reynolds number.The study of the aerodynamic mechanism of this environment is not thorough enough,which also brings challenges in the aircraft design process.In this paper,the aerodynamic characteristics of the flexible wings and tail of the multi-segment bionic flapping wing are studied.The influence of different parameters on the flapping wing is analyzed,which aims to provide references for the design and aerodynamic mechanism of the flapping wing.The specific research contents are as follows:Firstly,the research status of the existing flapping-wing aircraft is summarized.Two methods often implement the experimental platform of the flexible wing: active flexible deformation and passive flexible deformation.After analyzing the movement characteristics of the flapping wing,the research objectives were established,and the aerodynamic analysis of the bionic ornithopter with flexible wings was performed.Then,combined with the research of bird movement,the equation of flapping wing motion was optimized,and a flexible wing realization method suitable for this subject was designed using the flexibility function.The simulation model of the subject is constructed to carry out three-dimensional simulation analysis.By changing the wing's scale parameters,movement parameters and the angle formed by the tail and the trunk,the influence of different parameters on flapping wing movement is obtained,and the distribution of pressure and eddy current on the surface of flapping wing aircraft is analyzed.Finally,according to the results of the research,the aerodynamic characteristics of the bio-segment bionic ornithopter with flexible wings and the influence of different parameters on the flight performance are obtained.
