The theme hotel is the product of the increasing spiritual demand in the development of the hotel industry.It is an industry trend to pursue the quality of the hotel,enrich the type of the hotel and improve the competitiveness of the hotel,and gradually become an important branch of the hotel industry.With the development of the social economy and the improvement of people's living standards,the theme hotel also presents a flourishing trend.The theme culture is an important embodiment of attracting customers and improving the competitiveness of the hotel.Chinese vast territory and abundant resources,significant geographical features,regional culture has become an important source of theme hotel.How to apply the regional,historical and cultural characteristics of regional culture to the interior design of the theme hotel and to construct the characteristic regional cultural connotation and theme atmosphere have become an important subject of the interior design researchers in recent years.In this paper,through the research of the background of the subject and the analysis of the present situation at home and abroad,the present situation of the research and development of the theme hotel is understood,and the key problems in the interior design of the subject hotel are found out,and the solutions are discussed so as to achieve the purpose of the research.The author begins with the analysis of the characteristics of the theme hotel and the regional cultural theme hotel.Through the analysis and anatomy of the related cases at home and abroad,the author finds out the drawbacks and bottlenecks of the interior design of the theme hotel,and explores the interior design methods and principles of the regional cultural theme Hotel.Finally,through the design practice,taking Kaifeng as the regional cultural background in Henan and taking the Qingming River map as the theme,combining the theory and case,we complete the comprehensive construction of the theme culture of the Bian River Hotel from the theme confirmation,the element extraction,the space layout,the interior furnishings,the landscape decoration and so on.
