Pinctada fucata martensii Dunker is an important economic farming shellfish among southern coastal area in China, but live shellfish transportation is the weakness of the whole industry. Due to the lack of scientific transportation method, a lot of Pinctada martensii inactivated and even dead, leading to many transportation accidents. This research attempt to indicate the influence of transportation stress to Pinctada martensii's physiological energetics through analyzing the influence of air-exposure stress, waggle stress, anoxia stress, starvation stress and other environmental stress to its filtration rate, oxygen consumption rate, assimilation efficiency and selection efficiency, providing a theoretical foundation for scientific and efficient transportation of Pinctada martensii. The result of 6 hours transportation simulation experiment indicated that, dry method, which is always used in production and transportation, has obvious influence to Pinctada martensii's oxygen consumption rate and selection efficiency (p<0.05). Meanwhile, wet method has obvious influence to assimilation efficiency (p<0.05). Both two methods have obvious influence to filtration rate (p<0.01), but they have no obvious influence to the discharged weight of Pinctada martensii's total faeces (p>0.05).Air-exposure and waggle stress experiment shows that after 4 hours air-exposure stress, Pinctada martensii's filtration has obvious reduction compared with control group (p<0.01), but it returns to normal after 3 days and becomes stable. Air-exposure stress also made Pinctada martensii's oxygen consumption rate higher than control group (p<0.05) and returns to normal after 2 days. Meanwhile,4 hours waggle stress has no obvious influence to Pinctada martensii's filtration rate and oxygen consumption rate (p>0.05). And although air-exposure stress and waggle stress could lead to the fluctuation within a narrow range of Pinctada martensii's assimilation efficiency and selection efficiency, it has no obvious influence generally (p>0.05), and air-exposure stress and waggle stress have no obvious interaction. It indicated that air-exposure stress has obvious influence to physiological energy metabolism of Pinctada martensii, but there is no evidence in this experiment that waggle stress has any obvious influence to it. In anoxia and starvation experiment,12 hours anoxia stress and 12 hours starvation stress both have obvious influence to Pinctada martensii's filtration rate, made it obviously lower than control group (p<0.05), and fluctuates unstably in 3 to 4 days and returns to normal level until day 5. Compared with control group, anoxia stress has influence to oxygen consumption rate only in 2 and 3 days, and starvation stress has influence to oxygen consumption rate only in day 5, but the whole analyzing result indicated that both these two stresses have no obvious influence to its oxygen consumption rate (p>0.05). The two stress factors also have no obvious influence to assimilation efficiency and selection efficiency of Pinctada martensii (p>0.05), and selection efficiency and assimilation efficiency keep relatively stable in 5 days of this experiment. Meanwhile, anoxia stress and starvation stress have no obvious interaction to above four physiological energetic index (p>0.05).The experiment result of the influence of air-exposure and waggle stress and anoxia and starvation stress to Pinctada martensii's physiological energetics is basically same with the result of transportation simulation experiment. Air-exposure stress has the most obvious influence to Pinctada martensii's physiological energetic. Although anoxia stress and starvation stress have some influence, the stress degree is lower than air-exposure stress. The influence of waggle stress to the physiological energetics of Pinctada martensii has not been discovered in this experiment, and all the stress factors have no interaction. Meanwhile, it indicated that after transportation stress, the physiological energetic index of Pinctada martensii could recover to normal level in certain time (2 to 4 days in this experiment), and conduct regular physiological energy metabolism.
