The transplanter for the non self-propelled form, there is no can detect and display information device,the operator in the cab is very difficult to know the operating condition of transplanter, which requires a device can detect and display the information of the transplanting machine.This paper aimed at the problem of automatic transplanter. The detection system was designed base on PLC and touch screen were used in the system. PLC is the controller in the system, the system collects the planting information, the alarm information and the motion status information of the moving parts of the automatic transplanter, integration and processing by the PLC. The system uses touch screen as human machine interaction. The information to be processed by PLC in the form of animation, digital and graphics display, etc. The system is installed in the detection system of basket type automatic transplanter designed by Han Changjie et al, based on the detection information of the transplanting machine, the selection of the required detection of components in the system, and select the appropriate installation position. Using the programming software of S7-200 SMART PLC to program, sensor detection and processing of information and through PLC integration and processing, information is displayed on the touch screen. With MCGS(Monitor and Control Generated System)software to design the man-machine interface, so that the touch screen can displayed information by animation, digital and graphics. Verify that the system is able to understand the working status of the transplanting machine through the touch screenThe test results show that the system can detect the working state of the automatic transplanting machine in real time and display on the touch screen, Problems in the transplanting process can be timely feedback.
