With the continuous progress of science and technology, the industrial machinery automation is developing rapidly. The development of automation degree for a national industry, plays a vital role. At the same time, the extensive application of automation equipment, but also improved the people’s living standard to a large extent. As an important part of automatic machinery, agricultural machinery automation is the inevitable trend of the future development of agricultural machinery, in the whole process of agricultural machinery automation. The development of straw baler automation machine is an important part. Corn straw baler is developed for corn straw harvest, but domestic straw baler automaticity is low. The thesis is aimed at this phenomenon, study and improvement on automatic control straw baler, to form a new efficient straw baler l of automatic control, so as to achieve the target of save labor, reduce the labor cost.In this paper, STC90C516 RD microcontroller as the core of straw balers automatic control system,touch screen display and control the real-time working state of baler, while counting the number of turns at the same time. And real-time transmission of detected signal to the MCU through the sensor, realizes the automatic control of straw baler. Proper application of microcontroller, touch screen, sensors and other automated equipment, making automation baler improved.In the early time of the paper preparation process, read and analysis of a large number of documents, through the integration of these, proposed research program of straw balers automatic control system. Use the combination of automation components and mechanical parts of straw baler to achieve automatic control of straw balers work. At the same time, study of existing entities of straw balers, improve and adjust the bale control system for this machine.The main of the paper is to achieve communication of microcontroller and touch screen, the paper detailed study of the working principle of a touch screen, and enables the development of a touch screen, and connect with the microcontroller via RS232 protocol, so as to achieve real-time transmission of straw bale to the touch screen the work of the state machine, and delivered operating instructions to the microcontroller via the touch screen, achieve bundling preset number of laps,control balers work processes.Accurate application of the sensor is the focus of this paper research, this paper uses a Hall sensor, proximity switch sensor, photoelectric sensors and so on. Implemented in the work process of straw balers, baler beat each action can be detected by the sensor, and the signal is transmitted to the microcontroller for processing, so that the work steps straw balers automate.Through experimental simulation and improvement of the control system, to achieve the requirements of straw baler automatic control. Through continuous testing and analysis, makes a foundation of the future of control system development and research.
