With the development of agriculture in our country, the traditional mode of operation has been unable to meet the current agricultural production. Operation mode towards the development from single to comprehensive, soil tillage machine also towards the associative form direction, the operation with combined machine will become the main development direction of farming technology in the future. Although our tillage machinery develops fast, but compared with the western countries there is a big gap. The tillage machine designed in our country is mainly equipped with around 120 horsepower tractor, which limits the working width of the combined machine, and directly affects the production efficiency. The combined machine designed ourselves use subsoiling and land-preparation components imported directly, the soil crushing degree and surface flatness are not high, can not meet the requirements of soil preparation before maize sowing, affect the quality and quantity of maize.According to the above question, combined with the actual situation of maize mechanical tillage in Heilongjiang province, a combined machine for stubble-cleaning, subsoiling and land-preparation was designed. According to the agronomic requirements of maize production, the combined configuration of stubble-cleaning, subsoiling, soil crushing and press was determined. According to the power output shaft speed of the above 210 horsepower tractor, a high-speed stubble-cleaning mechanism was matching designed using the gear generator in Autodesk Inventor software; combined with the domestic subsoiling mode, consulted the foreign high-speed deep loosening plough, designed a kind of inclined deep loosening shovel, which had two kinds of tilt direction of left and right, so the deep loosening shovel used the left and right image of single row layout; the corrugated disc harrow and rat cage type crushing toothed roller were adopted for the land-preparation mechanism, and the disc harrow group used the before and after staggered configuration. The parameters of the key components were determined. Then the virtual assembly for the main working parts conduced with the CATIA 3D design software. And completed the prototype production.In order to test the feasibility of the combined machine for stubble-cleaning, subsoiling and land-preparation, a field experiment was carried out on the prototype. Test results showed that the root stubble crushing rate was 74%; subsoiling depth was at about 310 mm; the stability of subsoiling depth reached to 86%; power consumption was 108.6 kW, less than 85% of the supporting power, acquired the standard requirements. It concluded that the combined machine designed in this paper significantly improved the soil quality of maize farming and meet the demand for maize production.
