At the invitation of the Institute of Electronics Baoding strawberries, follow the "Internet plus" new style driven, design a kind of intelligent environment monitoring system is applied to the strawberry greenhouse growing environment. As we all know, the temperature and humidity of the air, soil moisture and light intensity are the important growth factors in Strawberry greenhouse, these factors are largely affect the growth of plants. In the traditional way, the environmental parameters of the strawberry greenhouse are measured by man using the field instruments, and change the environmental parameters of the strawberry greenhouse through manual operation, which increased the input of the human labor. Along with the proposed Internet plus agriculture, management and monitoring way of artificial intelligence will gradually replace the traditional human labor.Modbus communication technology is widely used in many fields, such as standard, development, frame format is simple, reliable and so on. In this article, a strawberry greenhouse monitoring system is designed,and it is based on Modbus communication protocol. The system can monitor and modulate the strawberry greenhouse's environment.This article is designed to target the strawberry greenhouse environment, combined with the characteristics of Modbus transmission protocol, designed to complete the master and slave star network design, including slave air temperature and humidity acquisition node,slave soil moisture acquisition node,slave light monitoring node, slave automatic watering node and automatic rolling curtain node,which completed the program design of the host computer and the main control end, and realized the real-time data display and other functions on the upper computer.This system adopts the CC1101 wireless RF module implementing from the host to the machine between 433 MHZ data transmission; Air temperature and humidity acquisition node using AM2321 digital temperature and humidity sensor which is directly connected to the MCU. Soil moisture sensor acquisition node is a FC-28 type humidity sensor is directly connected with the micro controller. Light intensity detectionusing linear output of silicon photocell; Automatic control unit by the host to send instructions to the machine, by controlling the relays, the water pump and the shutter can open and close.This design chooses to carry on the system test in the laboratory environment, through the system test: air temperature acquisition ranges from 5? to 50?,humidity acquisition ranges from 25% RH to 90% RH, soil moisture acquisition ranges from 20% RH to 90% RH,host and slave nodes through wireless can send and receive data in 81 meters, which is a reliable transmission distance.Through several experimental tests, the Modbus communication protocol through the star network can operate in network experiment stably and successfully. It can be applied in the strawberry greenhouse monitoring system, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent agricultural science research.
